I first noticed Kiel Mead's work on the Moma Store website. He takes ordinary objects or in some cases not so ordinary and casts them into jewelry.My favourite is this the forget me not ring pictured at the right. Its as though a piece of string is tied around your finger to remind you of something or someone. How dreamy!
Other items that have been casted include a chewed up piece of gum, a matchstick, Christmas light and a retainer!
